These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Borify mobile application (the "App"), developed by day2day.app ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

ℹ️ This is a good-faith template describing how Borify works. It is not legal advice — have a qualified legal professional review and adapt it (especially the Governing Law and consumer-rights sections) before publication.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Borify. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Borify uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. You agree to provide accurate account information (name, age, email) and to keep it up to date.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Borify for your own personal, non-commercial digital-wellbeing purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent the App's enforcement, limit, cooldown, scoring, or accountability mechanisms.

4. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

• Free trial. Borify may offer a 3-day free trial (on eligible plans). You will not be charged during the trial; if you do not cancel before it ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged automatically.
• Plans & pricing. Borify is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency and may differ by region. We may change prices; changes apply to new purchases and to renewals in accordance with Google Play's rules (existing subscribers are notified as required).
• Billing & auto-renewal. All purchases are processed by Google Play. Your subscription auto-renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Deleting your Borify account does not cancel your Google Play subscription — cancel it separately.
• Refunds. Payments are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policies. We do not separately process payments or refunds.

5. The Accountability Feature (X / Twitter Posts)

Borify's core design includes a public accountability system. By connecting your X (Twitter) account, you authorise Borify to post on your behalf when its rules are triggered — for example, breaking your streak with no shields remaining, exceeding your screen-time goal, removing a tracked app, or repeatedly extending limits.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• These posts are public and visible to your followers.
• Once a post is sent, it cannot be recalled by the App (you may delete it from X yourself).
• You can stop all future posts at any time by disconnecting X in Profile settings (by deleting your account).
• You are solely responsible for the content posted from your account via this feature and for complying with X's own terms.

This feature is optional, but it is central to how Borify works.

6. "Borified" Apps & Third-Party Content

Borify provides limited, restricted ("borified") web-based access to certain third-party services (such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and Snapchat). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these third-party services or their content. Your use of them through Borify is also subject to those services' own terms and policies. We may add, remove, or change which services are supported at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose;
• Tamper with, modify, or circumvent the App's limits, cooldowns, scoring, shields, or accountability mechanisms;
• Use modified or unofficial versions of the App, or automate/abuse the service;
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, our servers, or other users.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Borify name, logo, design, content, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. Third-party trademarks (e.g. YouTube, Instagram) belong to their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers

• Borify is a digital-wellbeing tool, not a medical, psychological, or health service. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition and is not a substitute for professional advice.
• We make no guarantee of any specific outcome (e.g. reduced screen time, habit change, or "time saved"). Results vary by individual.
• The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate.
• Enforcement features depend on Android permissions and device behaviour and may not work on every device or configuration.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, day2day.app and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Account → Delete account, which permanently erases your server-side data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Subscription cancellation must be done separately in Google Play.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
